1. Download the Brytewave app onto your device, then open. 2. Select Alta High School. 3. Log in using your school username and password. Then browse our ebook selection. Look for your summer reading books and other fun books. Download your selection to your device. You can also read books from your computer by going to http://destiny.canyonsdistrict.org/ logging in with your school username and password.
Books check out for 15 school days. Fines accrue at $.10/day.
Books may be renewed online in the online catalog. Students are encouraged to login and use their library account. Login information is the same as logging into the school computers--
username: first letter of first name + first three of last name + last four of student number password: student number
Students in the Library:
Students are welcome in the library before school, at lunch, and after school.
Students are welcome in the library during classes with a library pass from their teacher.
While in the library, students should be working, reading, looking for a book, or conducting research.
Please keep voices down and do not distract others that are reading or working in the library.
No gum, food, or drink is permitted in the library.
Please respect others and all library property and materials.
Printing & Copies:
Students are allotted 5 free black and white prints per day. More than 5 prints will be charged at $.05/page.
Color prints are $.50/page.
Copies are $.05/page through our pay copy machine.
If a student borrows a book, and it is lost or damaged, the student must pay for the item. If the book was lost, and later returned (within a reasonable amount of time), the student's money will be refunded.
